SUNNY HOURS AND SUMMER FLOWERS

I know today's Monday but it really should have been Sun-day, as the sun was shining full force here in Glasgow. (Dad joke-tastic.) This was the first time in the entire year of 2013 that I had braved the outdoors bare legged and I'll tell ya, it felt good. My friend Trina and I went for a spot of sunny lunch then went for a wander through the park soaking up rays, duck spotting and looking at houses we'd have to sell our organs, worldly possessions and souls to afford. There's some hidden spots in Glasgow's west end where you feel on a warm day, more like you're wandering through a Mediterranean village than stoating through a city in the middle of Scotland. I wanted to wear a nice comfy dress and shoes as I've been wearing heeled boots a lot lately during the day and my feet are in tatters. The dress is one I admit I wear way too much, however I don't care because it's so comfy, and the black sandals are also kind to my little trotters and go with everything. Double hooray!

The blossoms, forget me nots, tulips, roses and dandelions were all out in full force basking in the rare sun and the park was a lovely sight to behold as you can see. Hopefully you've all had similar weather, and hopefully it'll continue here, however the umbrella's still sitting patiently and faithfully beside the door.
